The Shipping Clerk is responsible for performing routine shipping and receiving tasks, including loading trucks, picking orders, and managing warehouse inventory. They also handle production labeling, verify sales orders, and ensure all shipments meet customer requirements and packaging guidelines.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess basic computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office products. Prior experience in shipping, receiving, and operating material handling equipment like forklifts is preferred.
Job Summary:
The Shipping Clerk will perform a variety of routine shipping, receiving, production and housekeeping tasks. Shipping tasks include loading truck shipment, picking, packaging and shipment of orders. Receiving tasks include unloading truck shipments, stocking the warehouse shelves and complete inbound receiving paperwork.
