Maintenance Technicianisresponsible forthe safe, reliable, and efficient operation of criticaltools and equipment in production. The role ensures thattools and equipmentaremaintainedathigh standardsto support production and workplace safety.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance ontools and equipment as well as troubleshooting
Support incident handling, fault-finding, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Execute maintenance tasks according to work orders, SOPs, and safety standards (LoTo, risk assessments, permits-to-work).
Assistin upgrades, modifications, and commissioning of newtools and equipment from technician perspective.
Collaborate with contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance in outsourced maintenance work.
Keepaccuraterecords of performed maintenance, spare parts used, and system performance.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, energy efficiency, and safety.
Requirements
Educational backgroundandpreviousexperiencerequiredfor the role
Technical education in maintenance(or equivalent work experience).
Knowledgeandhands-onexperiencewithmechanical, electrical, or automation systems related totools and equipment.(Electrical, mechanical, pneumaticand PLCsystems)
Abilitytoread and interpretequipment documents (E-schematics,Mechanical drawings,P&IDs)
Experience with maintenance ofproduction equipment or similar experience fromother relevant industries(i.e.aviation,rail,semicon, automotive)is also beneficial
