The Saw Operator is responsible for cutting, sawing, and grinding carbon steel work pieces using single point machines and overhead cranes. They must perform quality control inspections and ensure all operations adhere to OSHA safety policies.
Candidates must be high school graduates with at least one year of machine operator experience and valid crane and forklift certifications. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers is required.

Metals USA is seeking a Saw Operator - 1st Shift in Ambridge, PA. Metals USA is a solid, growth oriented, carbon steel (plate, beam and tube) distribution center servicing the defense, commercial, construction, aerospace and fabrication industries.
The Saw Operator, under limited supervision, regularly performs routine to moderately advanced production activities requiring demonstrated skill and competency in production processes and machine operation acquired through an apprenticeship and/or considerable training.
