Perform resident engineering and inspection services for transportation projects including highways, bridges, and airports. Prepare accurate daily reports and maintain project documentation while communicating with contractors and owners.
Requires construction inspection experience and thorough knowledge of NYSDOT Standard Specifications. NICET Level II certification is preferred along with the ability to work independently.

Our Construction Inspection Department continues to grow as we provide Resident Engineering and Inspection (REI) services for NYSDOT, Nassau County, Suffolk County, municipalities, and airport clients throughout Long Island.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to join our transportation construction team. This position offers the opportunity to work on major highway, bridge, traffic signal, streetscape, airport, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
Experience with the following is considered a plus:
Salary Range: $50-$55 per hour
