The phlebotomist is responsible for performing blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups. They also manage specimen processing, data entry, billing, and provide superior customer service to patients.
Candidates must possess a Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P) or have an application filed with the WA Department of Health. At least 6 months of phlebotomy experience is preferred, along with the ability to pass a color blindness test.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 875 Wesley St. Arlington, WA 8223

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day. Hours vary daily within a window of 6:45 AM to 1:00 PM (20 hours/week).
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)
6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist
In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM: PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
Pay Range: $18.00 to $27.69 per hour
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
