Performs diagnostic, therapeutic, and biopsy ultrasound procedures while collaborating with radiologists and referring physicians. Responsible for patient positioning, image capture, and maintaining clinical documentation in the RIS and PACS systems.
Requires a minimum of two years post-graduate sonography experience and completion of a CAAHEP-approved training program. Must hold RDMS certification and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
