Install, modify, and repair industrial pallet racking and warehouse storage systems at customer sites. Read installation drawings and ensure all systems are securely anchored and meet manufacturer specifications.
Candidates should have mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50 pounds and working at heights. A valid driver's license is required, and experience in construction or related trades is a plus.
J & J Companies is seeking a dependable and motivated Pallet Rack Installer / Installation Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for installing, modifying, repairing, and dismantling pallet racking, industrial shelving, mezzanines, wire partitions, and other warehouse storage systems at customer facilities.
Most projects are completed within a 100-mile radius of Columbia, PA, with approximately 20% overnight travel for larger regional projects. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, is mechanically inclined, works well as part of a team, and is committed to delivering quality workmanship while maintaining a safe work environment.
