The Medical Assistant supports physicians by managing patient flow and performing diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and vitals. They also act as a liaison to ensure patient satisfaction and maintain clinical supply inventory.
A high school diploma is required, with Medical Assistant and BLS certifications to be obtained within a specified timeframe after hire. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, and specific education is required for candidates in New Jersey.

Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
