The JB for Governor Campaign is seeking a Videographer for the 2026 Campaign cycle to be responsible for translating campaign strategy into compelling visual and multimedia content. As part of the creative team embedded within the digital team, this position is responsible for capturing and executing the campaign's creative vision across all digital platforms as well as capturing content on location. 

Location:  Chicago, IL (This position is travel heavy within the state and out) 

Reports to: Senior Video Producer 

Reporting to this position: Editor  

Salary range: $84,000 

Key Responsibilities 

• Meet the video production needs of the JB for Governor Campaign. 

• Capture digital ads, longform and short form content, and animations. 

• Ensure messaging is consistent across platforms and resonates with voters. 

• Work with Creative Director and team members to align content with campaign goals and audience interests. 

• Work across multiple angles and man several cameras.  

• Ensure all remarks or key moments are captured. 
   

Skills required  

• Strong filming, editing, and storytelling skills. 

• Ability to quickly produce content under tight deadlines. 

• Knowledge of video production tools, graphic design, and editing software. 

• Prior experience running video needs.  

• Comfortable using a range of cameras and lenses.
