Develop and design electronic modules for high-precision mass spectrometry measurement systems. Manage the entire development process from concept to series production, including prototyping and product approval.
Requires a degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or mechatronics from a university or technical college. Candidates should have experience in electronics development and prototype construction with strong communication skills in German and English.

In Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Wissenschaftler:innen, Ingenieur:innen und Techniker:innen entwickelst und konstruierst du elektronische Baugruppen für unsere Systeme. Du bist dabei in den gesamten Entwicklungsprozess von der Konzeptfindung bis zur Serienreife eingebunden, realisierst Prototypen und begleitest die Produktzulassung, Fertigungsüberleitung und Nachbetreuung für deine Projekte.

Das kollektivvertragliche Mindestgehalt beträgt 3.415,01 € brutto pro Monat (auf 38,5 Stunden Basis). Das Gehalt wird 14-mal jährlich ausbezahlt. Es gilt der Kollektivvertrag Eisen- und metallverarbeitendes Gewerbe.
Eine Überzahlung ist in Abhängigkeit von Qualifikation und Erfahrung selbstverständlich möglich.

We are the world’s leading producer of real-time trace gas & organic particle analyzers based on Proton Transfer Reaction – Mass Spectrometry (PTR-MS) technology, with a market-leading detection limit < 0.1 pptv for VOCs. Considered as academic but also industrial “gold standard”, our PTR-TOF instruments are used in environmental research, air quality monitoring networks, atmospheric chemistry, engine emissions testing, food & flavor science and medical breath analysis. We also supply industrial VOC monitoring systems such as the AMC-Monitor for cleanroom and FOUP analysis in the semiconductor industry, BTEX air pollution monitoring as well as instruments for COVID-19 detection in breath. We manufacture modular time-of-flight mass spectrometers for academic research projects & as OEM. We also offer analytical services and are an active contributor to numerous international scientific research and training projects.
