About the Role:

The CNC Machinist Setup/Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This position requires a deep understanding of technical drawings and specifications to ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the machining process, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Additionally, the role involves regular maintenance of the machines to keep them in optimal working condition. Ultimately, the CNC Machinist Setup/Operator contributes significantly to the overall productivity and success of the manufacturing team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a CNC machinist or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools and quality control standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in CNC machining or a related field.
  • Experience with multiple types of CNC machines (e.g., lathes, mills).
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
