Responsibilities
The technician is responsible for preparing, testing, and calibrating construction materials testing equipment to ensure high quality standards. Key tasks include performing QC checks, installing components, and upgrading NCAT ovens before shipment.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical manuals are required.

Your Impact
As an Equipment Preparation Technician, you’ll be responsible for preparing, testing, calibrating, and ensuring our equipment meets the highest quality standards before reaching our customers.
What You’ll Do
Unpack and inspect incoming equipment and components
Perform quality control (QC) checks to meet company standards
Install and configure components based on order specifications
Test equipment to ensure full functionality before shipment
Safely and securely repackage equipment for delivery
Upgrade NCAT ovens with Ignition panels following set procedures
Conduct QC testing on upgraded ovens for safety and performance
Perform in-house calibration of customer equipment
Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and calibrations
Identify and report defects or inconsistencies
Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
Support warehouse, production, or technical teams as needed

Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and work instructions

Basic computer skills for tracking and documentation
