Lead the design and implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Program to ensure compliance with the Canada Labour Code. Provide expert guidance to the OHS Committee and manage key programs including WHMIS and Hazard Prevention.
Requires a diploma in Health and Safety or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years of experience as an OSH advisor in diverse environments. Comprehensive knowledge of federal OHS regulations and the Canada Labour Code is essential.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Reporting to the Chief of Protection Services, this role leads the design, development, and implementation of Ingenium’s Occupational Health and Safety Program to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, including the Canada Labour Code.
The position provides expert guidance to the OHS Committee, Health and Safety Representatives, unions, managers, and staff, and overseas key programs such as the Hazard Prevention Program (HPP) and WHMIS. Responsibilities also include developing training and awareness initiatives, reviewing and enhancing policies and procedures, and managing related service contracts and projects (e.g., hazardous waste disposal, life safety systems inspections and testing).
The incumbent supports contract tendering processes and advises management and employees on workplace incidents, refusals to work, and other health and safety matters.
