Incobrasa is a soybean processing and biodiesel manufacturing company in Central Illinois with roots in the industry going back over 50 years. With a long company history focused on agriculture, our business efforts expanded from Brazil to the United States in 1982. We process soybeans. Year-round, all day, every day. Our process and systems are cutting edge, consisting of our shipping & receiving facilities, high-volume grain dryer, 8 concrete 190,000 bushel silos and multiple facilities including soybean preparation, oil extraction, refinery, food-grade oil packaging and biodiesel production. We have a long-standing relationship with our suppliers of soybeans. Our soybeans are sourced from a number of local elevators and suppliers in Illinois and surrounding states. 

Soybean Processing and Biodiesel - Gilman, IL

- Animal Feed. Animal feed made from soybeans is the most important protein source used to feed farm animals. As a soybean processor, large quantities of soybean meal and soybean hull pellets are produced as a by-product of oil extraction. 

- Vegetable Oil. Incobrasa operates a state-of-the-art packaging and labeling facility that features various production lines of bottled and canned vegetable oil. 

- Biodiesel. Incobrasa is a member of the National Biodiesel Board. We are BQ-9000 and RFS certified, with an annual production capacity of 44 million gallons. Biodiesel is a renewable biofuel that is clean-burning and offers a replacement or supplement to regular diesel fuel. 

Barge- Pekin, IL

- Incobrasa recently acquired a barge operation in Pekin. Grain barge operation is a vital component of the agricultural supply chain, facilitating the efficient transportation of bulk grain.

Our Grain Elevator. - Goodland, IN

- We receive, store, and transport Soybeans and Corn. Our corn capacity is 1,200,000 bushels, and our soybean capacity is 1,400,000. 

About the Role:

The Janitor plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall hygiene within agricultural facilities, ensuring a healthy and productive environment for all employees and visitors. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including janitorial duties, window cleaning, and minimal landscaping, to uphold the aesthetic and functional standards of buildings. The Janitor will work independently and adapt to varying daily demands, demonstrating flexibility in managing different cleaning schedules and responding to urgent maintenance needs. By maintaining stainless steel surfaces and other specialized equipment, the Janitor helps preserve the longevity and appearance of facility assets. Ultimately, this role supports operational efficiency and contributes to a positive workplace atmosphere.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work, preferably in commercial or agricultural settings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including safe handling procedures.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with basic grounds maintenance.
• Familiarity with stainless steel cleaning and maintenance techniques.
• Previous work experience in the agriculture industry.
• Strong communication skills to effectively report issues and coordinate with team members.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces within commercial agricultural buildings.
• Clean windows and maintain stainless steel fixtures to ensure all surfaces are spotless and free of smudges or debris.
• Manage landscaping tasks, and general upkeep of outdoor areas to enhance the facility’s appearance.
• Work independently to prioritize and complete daily cleaning schedules while adapting to any urgent or unexpected cleaning needs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding maintenance issues, supply needs, and safety concerns.

Skills:

Adaptability and flexibility are essential as the Janitor must adjust to changing priorities and schedules, often managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills enable clear reporting of maintenance needs and coordination with supervisors to ensure facility standards are met. Working independently requires self-motivation and discipline to complete janitorial duties efficiently without direct oversight. Technical skills such as window cleaning and stainless steel maintenance are applied daily to maintain high cleanliness standards and preserve facility assets. Landscaping skills contribute to the upkeep of outdoor areas, enhancing the overall environment and supporting the operational needs of agricultural and forestry facilities.
