Set up and operate manual machines to repair plastic injection molds and related tooling. Responsibilities include disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling molds while maintaining detailed history records and ensuring safety compliance.
Requires 4 years of vocational degree or job shop experience with proficiency in reading blueprints and basic trigonometry. Candidates must pass a physical test and be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
Under Minimal supervision, machinists set up and operate manually controlled machines such as vertical mills, metal lathes, and surface grinders to ensure proper repair of plastic injection molds and related tooling. Also, needs to be skilled in bench work and light fabrication. Candidate needs to be able to read drawings and fabricate jigs and fixtures. Work includes repair and preparation of injection molds and related tooling for production runs. Knowledge of Pro Trak KMX a plus.
SHIFT: 3pm-11:30pm | Monday - Friday (weekends and overtime as needed)
