Provide attentive customer service by preparing and serving a variety of deli products including meats, salads, and ready-to-eat meals. Maintain fresh and inviting product displays and offer recommendations and tasters to customers.
Candidates should have a friendly attitude, physical fitness for standing and lifting, and availability for daytime shifts including every second weekend. Previous deli experience is highly desirable but not essential as training is provided.

As a Deli Team Member, you’ll provide attentive service to our customers, preparing and serving:
Fresh meat, poultry and fish
Cold meats and smallgoods
Salads and antipasto
Ready-to-eat meals and pastries
You’ll also help keep displays fresh and inviting, recommend products, and offer tasters.
This is a casual role to start, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Previous deli experience is highly desirable, but not essential, we’ll provide training and support.
A friendly, can-do attitude and great communication skills
Comfort working with both cooked and uncooked meat and seafood
A love of working with people, both customers and your team
Positive energy, initiative and willingness to learn
Commitment and ability to follow food safety and workplace health & safety procedures
Ongoing daytime availability 3-4 days per week, including every second weekend (rosters are set based on your availability and operational needs)
Physical fitness for lifting and standing throughout your shift

Pay rates are set by the General Retail Industry Award. The 2026-27 base hourly pay rates for level 1 adults are:
Casual
Weekdays $34.76
Saturday $41.72
Sunday $48.67
Additional penalty rates apply to public holidays and some overtime and early morning shifts. Please view the full Award for all applicable rates and allowances.
