Heritage Industries, a leader in the work truck and equipment industry, is currently seeking a Truck Specialist I. Responsibilities of this role include assembly and production of new equipment builds.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Must understand and adhere to the personal responsibility of safety and always work safely. Adhere to all company safety programs and policies.
Ability to work as a team, communicate effectively, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Ability to assemble new truck bodies, lube skids, and other products as specified by clients and scope of work, consisting of hardware, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other components via lineout and SOP’s.
Ability to communicate effectively in receiving constructive criticism and direction from direct reports as well as giving feedback to direct reports.
Troubleshoot and diagnose failures on various assembled components, cranes, lube trucks, lube skids, auxiliary power units, and other equipment as needed.
Take ownership of client problems and provide solutions. Must consistently deliver a world class customer experience.
Required Qualifications:
Must utilize TRACK and always work safely.
Positive attitude.
Must have your own hand tools or be willing to tool up within first 3-6 months.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability and willingness to learn new skills through internal training modules.
High School diploma (or GED/High School Equivalence Certificate).
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements include steel or composite toe safety footwear. Other PPE will be provided as required.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, squat and kneel frequently.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 year degree from accredited college or trade school.
Previous experience within work truck industry, automotive, and/or truck equipment service and repairs.
CDL endorsement.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
