We are seeking a licensed, license-eligible, and/or certified school psychologist within the Department of Psychology at The Hagedorn Little Village School, Jack Joel Center for Special Children. This position allows for the opportunity to work within a department of psychologists and behavior specialists. Consultation with therapists of other disciplines (speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and movement therapy) is encouraged. Our school serves children 2-12 years of age with a variety of diagnoses, developmental disabilities, and levels of functioning.
Responsibilities include psychological and psychoeducational evaluations, diagnostic assessment, conducting and writing Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans, provision of group and individual counseling, parent training, crisis intervention, and classroom consultation. The ideal candidate would have the interpersonal skills necessary to work on a multidisciplinary team and possess knowledge regarding behavioral interventions in addition to child development. Bilingual a plus.
This position would be for the school year beginning September 2026.
Salary Range (commensurate with experience):
Certified School Psychologist: $74,476 – $80,522
Licensed Psychologist: $79,507 - $89,814
Hours/Benefits:
- 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday
- Schedule follows school calendar (with six-week summer session)
- Position available for anticipated September 2026 start
- Full benefit package including sick/personal time, medical/dental/vision/AFLAC plans available, 403B
