In this role, you'll be speaking every day to corporate leaders who rely on GA to help them apply these solutions to their workforce of the future. 

Role Description

This role is responsible for driving employment outcomes for Jordanian tech talents graduated from General Assembly through employer engagement, partnership development, placement support, data tracking, and ecosystem building. The position focuses on connecting graduates with employment, freelance, remote work, apprenticeship, and entrepreneurship opportunities in Jordan, the MENA region, and globally.

The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, experience in business development, recruitment, talent placement, or workforce development, and a passion for supporting Jordanians in launching and advancing successful careers in technology.

Specific Responsibilities

Employer & Partnership Development

  • Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships with technology companies, startups, enterprises, government entities, development organizations, and industry associations in Jordan and across the MENA region.
  • Develop relationships with employers actively hiring technology talent and position program graduates as a preferred talent pool.
  • Foster strong relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, founders, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Build partnerships with organizations that can support graduates in securing remote employment and international opportunities.

Graduate Placement & Career Outcomes

  • Track and monitor the progress of graduates and participants to ensure successful employment and career advancement outcomes.
  • Support graduates in securing full-time employment, contract work, internships, apprenticeships, freelance engagements, and startup opportunities.
  • Conduct employer outreach and job matching activities to connect graduates with relevant opportunities.
  • Maintain regular communication with alumni to track long-term career progression and identify success stories.

Ecosystem & Community Engagement

  • Build relationships with Jordan's startup ecosystem, incubators, accelerators, coworking spaces, and entrepreneurship support organizations.
  • Create opportunities for graduates to engage with employers and industry professionals.
  • Support initiatives that increase awareness of emerging technology careers and skills demanded by employers.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support for partnership and placement activities.
  • Schedule meetings, manage stakeholder communications, and track deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate records of employer partnerships, graduate outcomes, and engagement activities.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and stakeholder updates.

Detailed Responsibilities

Graduate Tracking & Outcome Measurement

  • Track the progress of graduates in terms of employment outcomes and career progression.
  • Follow up with graduates after program completion to assess:
    • Employment status
    • Career advancement
    • Freelance project acquisition
    • Startup development milestones
    • Business growth and sustainability

Employer Engagement & Talent Placement

  • Proactively engage Jordanian, regional, and international employers recruiting technology talent.
  • Develop employer pipelines that create direct hiring opportunities for graduates.
  • Build and maintain a database of relevant technology vacancies and hiring partners.
  • Facilitate candidate referrals and matching between employers and graduates.
  • Develop a strong understanding of employer skill requirements to inform curriculum alignment and workforce development initiatives.

Remote Work & Freelancing Enablement

  • Build capacity and partnerships that enable graduates to access remote work opportunities globally.
  • Develop processes, training pathways, and partnerships that support graduates in becoming successful freelancers.
  • Connect graduates with platforms, clients, and organizations seeking remote technology talent.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Jordanian National.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Technology, Economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, employer engagement, workforce development, business development, sales, career services, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of Jordan's labor market and technology ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of regional and global technology hiring trends.
  • Experience building partnerships with employers and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and develop new employer and partnership opportunities.
  • Passion for supporting Jordanian talent and advancing employment outcomes in the technology sector.
