Perform quality control inspections on electrical equipment, switchgear, and substations while ensuring compliance with safety requirements. Responsible for preparing detailed technical reports, managing LOTO requests, and conducting welding inspections of piping and structural equipment.
Requires a high school diploma and at least two years of experience in inspecting or operating electrical distribution systems. Must possess CWI certification and OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety training.
Description
As a Data Center Quality Inspector I, you provide superb quality control services for our clients by performing essential inspections of electrical equipment and systems, including switchgear and substations. This position also requires Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) experience. Detailed knowledge of mechanical and instrumentation is critical to conduct inspections, interpret electrical drawings and specifications. You ensure the equipment and technicians around you comply with company and site safety requirements. Reporting daily about your findings, including time tracking and special inspection reports will be routine. You will approve and submit important documents such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requests, team reports, and time tracking reports. You take pride in assuring that our clients receive safely installed and functional equipment every time. If you are analytical, detail-oriented, communicate effectively, and prioritize safety, this opportunity may be an excellent fit. Travel may be required.
