The Associate conducts policy research and data analysis to identify actionable insights for client strategies. They are also responsible for drafting high-quality client materials and providing operational and logistical support to client teams.
Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in research, legislative, communications, consulting, or policy roles. Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to utilize generative AI tools are required.

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:
Approximately 1-3 years of research, legislative, communications, consulting, or policy-related experience is preferred. Applicants must possess strong writing and research skills, attention to detail, the ability to thoughtfully incorporate generative AI tools into their work, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
The expected salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000 and is commensurate with experience. In addition to base annual compensation, Freedman Consulting offers a comprehensive benefits package and discretionary annual bonus based on individual and firm performance. The firm's comprehensive benefits package includes healthcare coverage, a 401k retirement plan, paid vacation, personal and sick leave, and other valuable benefits. The starting salary is determined based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, internal equity considerations, and budget availability.
