The department head is responsible for the professional and disciplinary leadership of the telc examination team and the creation of examination schedules. They also oversee revenue and results for telc products while ensuring compliance with examination regulations.
Candidates must have a university degree in linguistics or business, or equivalent vocational training, along with at least 5 years of professional experience. A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role and strong organizational and social skills are required.
