Descripción General de Puesto:
• Brinda entrega y recolección de paquetes y documentos de forma eficiente y segura misentras que representa a la empresa de manera profesional.
• Opera vehículos no articulados de manera segura y eficiente, cumpliendo con todos los procedimientos gubernamentales y corporativos.
• Realiza una selección e inspección precisas y oportunas de los paquetes asignados y el posterior informe de conteos detenidos y clasificaciones incorrectas.
• Busca negocios adicionales de los clientes actuales, intenta obtener nuevos negocios (pasa los contactos al departamento de ventas) e informa al departamento de ventas sobre cambios significativos en el cliente/las acciones de la competencia.
• Responde a las preguntas de los clientes sobre la función de servicio de FedEx y mantiene informados a los clientes sobre la empresa y sus servicios.
• Garantiza que los paquetes se ajusten a las características del servicio de FedEx; que se proporcione el etiquetado adecuado; y que toda la documentación esté completa, ordenada y precisa.
• Valida que el contenido de los paquetes sea legal, incluidos los requisitos especiales para el manejo de mercancías peligrosas y envíos internacionales, separa los paquetes por tipo de servicio y destino de acuerdo con los procedimientos establecidos.
• Escanea paquetes de acuerdo con los procedimientos prescritos y demuestra competencia en las características del servicio y el equipo.
• Garantiza que los clientes tengan un suministro adecuado de materiales de FedEx para el envío.
• Reune paquetes aereos y transporte según requiera el sorteo para la operación.
• Carga y descarga aeronaves, contenedores y vehículos de la empresa y opera equipo de rampa mecanizado para cargar y descargar paquetes.
• Limpia, lava y realiza mantenimiento menor a los vehículos de la empresa según sea necesario y mantiene una apariencia personal ordenada y limpia para mantener la imagen pública de la empresa.
Requisitos mínimos:
Nivel mínimo de estudios:
• Preparatoria concluida.
• Preferente Inglés básico .
Experiencia Mínima:
• Un (1) año de experiencia profesional manejando
• Licencia de manejo de chofer de carga particular, tipo de licencia: la apropiada para el vehículo asignado de acuerdo con las regulaciones específicas del país.
• Buen historial de manejo
• Mayor de 21 años de edad
Habilidades Mínimas requeridas:
• Capacidad para levantar 32 Kg y para maniobrar paquetes con un peso de hasta 68 Kg con el equipo apropiado.
• Buenas habilidades de comunicación oral y escrita, relaciones humanas y trabajo en equipo
• Debe poder completar con éxito las secciones de Lectura, lectura de mapas, Clasificación y matemáticas de la Prueba de habilidades básicas.
• Orientación al servicio al cliente con buenas habilidades de organización.
