Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level data mining and statistical analysis to drive strategic business decisions. Serve as a strategic consultant to executive leadership by presenting data-driven insights and mentoring junior analysts.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline and at least eight years of experience in measurement, analysis, or predictive analytics. Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and SSMS is preferred for managing enterprise dashboards and financial reporting.
In this role, you will work as a business analyst for FedEx business domains, analyzing business and operational data to identify out-of-the-box opportunities, develop actionable insights, and make recommendations to management via understanding of the business model and information available for analysis. You will play a vital role in defining and advancing the organization's strategies and initiatives to deliver value. You will use data, statistical and quantitative analysis, basic modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision-making. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to present facts to senior leadership that inform strategic initiatives within the business domain.
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics, or finance. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
Eight (8) years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development, and/or predictive analytics.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficient with reporting & development tools including SSMS, Power BI, Report Builder, & SQL query development. Develop, maintain, enhance, & govern enterprise Duty & Tax dashboards, & reporting (Power BI), including executive-level & regional views. Perform analysis to identify financial exposure, dispute populations, rebill workflows and cash flow impacts; drive remediation recommendations and tracking. Serve as technical lead on special projects (regulatory/audit-drive analysis).
Pay Transparency: Sponsorship and Relocation may be provided depending on business needs. This position is eligible for telecommuting and may be located anywhere within the United States excluding AK, HI and U.S. territories.
Pay: This position is an E28.
