Maintain and update GIS databases for municipal utility systems and infrastructure while creating maps and exhibits for engineering projects. Support field data collection using GPS equipment and manage the conversion of CAD and survey datasets.
Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Planning, or Engineering Technology with 1-3 years of preferred experience. Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and a valid driver's license are essential.
Description
Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated GIS Technician to join its GIS Group. This position will support a variety of municipal and engineering projects through GIS data maintenance, mapping, field data collection, and database management. The successful candidate will work closely with GIS, engineering, survey, and CAD staff to support project delivery and client needs. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration, and teamwork.
