As a Crew Leader, you will oversee daily landscaping operations and lead a field crew to deliver high-quality results. This hands-on role is responsible for supervising a landscaping crew of 2-5 employees, coordinating tasks, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, takes pride in quality work, and enjoys leading teams in an outdoor, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
- Prior experience leading or supervising a crew
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, and safety practices
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid Florida Driver’s License and the ability to pass an MVR check
- Ability to perform physical work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in commercial landscaping, HOAs, or large property maintenance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- Experience training and mentoring crew members
- Ability to read site plans, work orders, or schedules
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems or landscape enhancements
- Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment
- Interest in career growth into operations management or account management roles
