The Personal Care Assistant provides one-on-one support to children with developmental or learning disabilities in preschools, daycares, or home settings. They are responsible for implementing instructional strategies and assisting with behavioral, medical, or physical needs.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma along with current CPR and First Aid certifications. Experience supporting children aged 3-5 with behavioral challenges and self-care needs is preferred.

Discovery Therapy is seeking an excellent Personal Care Assistants to join our Early Intervention community team within Philadelphia County.
Services will be for children with a variety of developmental and/or learning disabilities that are in the need of Personal Care Assistant Services.
We have full-time, part-time, and contract/per-diem positions available. 1099 Contractor Position
The Personal Care Assistant will work directly, one-on-one (1:1) with children in preschools, daycares or home environment. Generally, the kiddos we help will receive support for 4-7 hours each day. The Personal Care Assistant will work 1:1 with the child to ensure their success in preschool, daycare or home environment.
