Are you passionate about helping children and families thrive? Community-Minded Enterprises (CME) is seeking a part-time Bilingual ECEAP Family Support Specialist to support families, strengthen community connections, and help ensure children have a strong start in life.
In this role, you'll provide direct family support services, assist ECEAP subcontractor partners with program requirements and documentation, and coordinate the monthly Parent Policy Council to encourage family engagement and leadership.
What You'll Do
Build strengths-based relationships with families and support them in achieving their goals
Recruit and enroll ECEAP-eligible children and families
Connect families to community resources and support services
Assist families with health, developmental, educational, and behavioral support needs
Provide technical assistance and guidance to Family Support Staff at subcontracted ECEAP sites
Monitor documentation and support compliance with ECEAP and DCYF requirements
Coordinate and facilitate monthly Parent Policy Council meetings
Qualifications
Associate degree or higher with qualifying coursework in human services, social work, family support, early childhood education, psychology, child development, or a related field; or an approved Family Support credential
At least one year of experience working with children and/or families experiencing trauma
Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish (required)
Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and ability to obtain a MERIT Portable Background Check
