Coastal Waste and Recycling is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Administrator to support our operations and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Your Role:

The Maintenance Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of a waste management facility. This position involves coordinating and overseeing maintenance activities to support the functionality and reliability of equipment and vehicles.

• Coordinate maintenance schedules and track work orders
• Assist with inventory management for maintenance supplies and equipment
• Communicate with technicians and management to prioritize maintenance tasks
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and reporting
• Support the overall efficiency of the maintenance department

What We’re Looking For: 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience in a maintenance or administrative role, preferably within the waste management or logistics industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in computer software and maintenance management systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Shifts may vary, 40+ hours per week (overtime available)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
• Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish or Creole)
