Pet Groomer

Fetch & Fancy Boutique & Grooming Salon is seeking a passionate, skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality grooming services in a vibrant, pet-friendly retail environment where your care and expertise help pets look and feel their best. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Bathe, dry, and groom pets according to breed standards and customer preferences
• Trim and style fur, nails, ears, and other grooming needs
• Assess pets' health and skin condition, reporting any concerns to pet owners
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work area
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners
• Keep detailed records of grooming services and client preferences

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pet groomer
• Knowledge of grooming techniques for various breeds and coat types
• Ability to handle animals gently and confidently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent team-player
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Certification from a recognized grooming school
• Ability to pass a background check
