The General Manager is accountable for the operational, commercial, and people performance of a high-volume distribution centre. Key duties include leading end-to-end warehouse operations, driving continuous improvement, and managing financial targets and customer SLAs.
Candidates must have senior leadership experience in logistics or warehousing and a proven track record of delivering operational transformation. Strong commercial acumen and a passion for coaching and developing talent are essential.

Do you have the operational expertise and commercial acumen to take full ownership of a distribution centre's performance, culture and profitability?
Here at GXO, we’re seeking a General Manager, to join our NHS Supply Chain contract in Normanton. You will hold full accountability for the operational, commercial and people performance of the site. Leading a complex, fast-paced warehouse operation, you will ensure safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery across inbound, outbound, inventory, returns and quality.
You will drive continuous improvement, develop leaders at all levels and ensure all customer SLAs, KPIs, and financial targets are achieved – while operating fully in line with GXO standards, legal requirements and best practice.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary between £70,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
