The Counsel will draft and negotiate project and financing documents for utility-scale renewable energy and gas projects. They will also provide legal guidance on regulatory issues, manage litigation, and support acquisitions and dispositions.
Requires a JD from an accredited law school, a license to practice law, and at least 3 years of relevant legal experience. Experience in project finance and development within the wind, solar, battery storage, or gas sectors is ideal.
Counsel will advise and work with management and project teams as Clearway positions itself to capture emerging opportunities in utility-scale wind, utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, and gas segments of the energy industry. This hybrid position reports to an Assistant General Counsel and may be in any of our Denver, San Francisco, San Diego, or Scottsdale offices.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.
