Position Summary

The Controller is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with all applicable regulatory standards. This role will lead and develop the accounting team, support strategic initiatives, and partner closely with executive leadership to drive scalable financial processes across a multi-entity organization.

Given Cibes Symmetry’s growth stage, this person must be both technically exceptional and a strong leader, capable of scaling the team, systems, and infrastructure to support continued growth and an active M&A environment. This is a hands-on role, owning the integrity of the company’s financials while driving process improvements and navigating increasing scale and complexity.

Working Conditions

This position is primarily performed in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, phones, printers, and copiers. The work environment is generally quiet to moderately noisy and climate‑controlled.

This role may require extended periods of sitting at a workstation, as well as occasional standing or walking within the office. Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be available based on business needs and role requirements, but regular in‑office presence may be expected. Travel as needed. 

Physical Requirements

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods, use hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment, and communicate clearly through verbal and written means. The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, or lift and move items weighing up to approximately 10–15 pounds, such as files, documents, or office supplies.
