The Guest Services Associate will provide administrative support to the front office ministry and create a welcoming first impression for visitors. The role involves managing scheduling, handling time-sensitive tasks, and building positive relationships with staff and church attendees.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-oriented, and capable of balancing administrative duties with interpersonal engagement. Applicants must be available to work specific on-site shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
Our ideal candidate for this 12-hour-a-week, part-time role will be someone who creates a warm first impression at our St. Charles/South Elgin Campus as they support the front office ministry. This person will excel in customer service and prioritize building relationships with both staff and church attendees.
This position will work three specific shifts each week on-site at the St. Charles/South Elgin campus:
Mondays from 9 am to 1 pm
Tuesdays from 3 to 5 pm
Fridays from 9 am to 3 pm

Beginning with a group of six families in 1984, Christ Community Church has grown to over 5000 weekend attenders, including our DeKalb Campus in DeKalb County, our Aurora Campus in southern Kane County, and our Streamwood Campus in Cook County. A significant focus on reaching spiritually lost people has resulted in over 200 new believers being baptized each year. Christ Community had humble beginnings with services held in a rented movie theater. Weekly activities now take place in our 100,000 square foot St. Charles Campus with weekend celebration services held in our 2000 seat auditorium. Jim Nicodem has been the senior pastor of Christ Community Church since its birth in 1984. Born and raised in the Midwest, Jim received his BA from Wheaton College, and his MDiv and DMin from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Jim is passionate about prayer and is the author of Prayer Coach, For All Who Want to Get Off the Bench and Onto the Praying Field.
