About Us
CareerOS is a B2B2C career platform serving 150+ top universities worldwide, including Oxford, ESADE, HEC, London Business School, UC Berkeley and more, alongside 30+ employer partners. We help 500k+ students land jobs they love, and we're growing!
We're a lean, high-output team based in Barcelona. 22 FTEs and growing, €4m+ raised from top investors. We move fast, own our decisions, and push each other to do great work. Marketing here isn't a support function, it's a growth engine.
The Role
We're looking for a Marketing Manager who's equally comfortable pulling off a flawless virtual event as they are setting up a HubSpot workflow from scratch. You'll work directly with the founders, our Head of Growth, and cross-functionally with our Sales and Product Teams, supporting both the B2B side (universities and employers) and the B2C side (students). The work is hands-on, varied, and fast-moving. This isn't a role where you wait for a brief. You'll own entire workstreams, coordinate across teams and vendors, and ship things independently.
Main areas you'll cover: Sales enablement, product marketing, webinars, paid acquisition, virtual and in-person events and community programs.
Typical split: ~50% sales support, events and operations, ~50% digital campaigns and content. Shifts depending on the quarter.⚡
Start date: ASAP
What You'll Actually Do
🤖 Lead with AI tools daily. Use AI for content creation, asset generation, and campaign workflows. We expect you to unblock yourself with AI and ideally build agents that make your own work faster and better.
🎉 Run events end-to-end. You'll own the full lifecycle of online events: international virtual career fairs hosted on the CareerOS platform, webinar-style activations, and digital touchpoints with talent acquisition teams at top companies. From registration flows and attendee comms to live coordination and post-event analytics, you make it run smoothly.
💻 Manage webinars. Own the full cycle: asset design, registration setup, attendee comms, live streaming, and post-event data handoff to sales.
🔀 Own lead management in HubSpot. Keep leads coming in from LinkedIn, ebooks, demos, and webinars properly routed and assigned. You're the gatekeeper for pipeline hygiene.
📣 Run paid campaigns on LinkedIn. Launch, monitor, and optimize lead gen campaigns without needing someone to hold your hand.
📢 Drive product marketing. Help our users and partners understand what CareerOS can do for them. The bi-weekly Career Advisor newsletter is one tool, but you'll think beyond it: email campaigns, in-app messaging, launch communications, and more.
📱 Content and social. Linkedin and website updates, student marketing, email campaigns, and other social media. You'll lead.
🎨 Create sales collateral. Flyers, one-pagers, PDF guides, banners. You'll customize templates for specific clients and audiences, not just hand off to a designer.
🤝 Support client onboarding. Video tutorials, email campaigns, and ad-hoc resources to help clients get up and running.
🎓 Coordinate the Student Ambassador Program. Manage existing ambassadors and help us make the program more scalable. Campus activations and career fairs included.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
2+ years in a marketing role with real ownership, not just assisting
Seasoned using AI tools to produce content, generate assets, and automate workflows
Event coordination experience: you've run something from scratch and know how stressful the week before can be
Comfortable in HubSpot: workflows, lead routing, campaign reporting
Strong written English: you'll be writing newsletters, emails, and collateral that go out to thousands of people
Basic design skills in Figma or Canva, enough to customize templates and make things look sharp
Highly organized: you're tracking five things at once and nothing falls through the cracks
Proactive by default: you spot the gap before someone points it out
✅ Right to work in Spain: we don't sponsor visas for this role at the moment
Strong signals:
You've set up AI agents or automated workflows to take repetitive tasks off your plate
You've worked at a startup or a growing team where you wore multiple hats
Experience with webinar platforms (Streamyard or similar)
Familiarity with Customer.io, Webflow, and Notion
You've managed a community program or ambassador network
You've run LinkedIn paid campaigns and have thoughts on what works
What This Role is NOT
❌ Not a specialist role. You'll be doing events one week and optimizing a LinkedIn campaign the next. If you want to go deep on one channel only, this isn't it.
❌ Not highly structured. Priorities shift. You'll need to adapt quickly and make judgment calls without waiting for detailed direction.
❌ Not a pure executor. We want someone who pushes back, suggests better approaches, and brings their own ideas to the table.
❌ Not remote. This is primarily an on-site role in Barcelona. We're hybrid-friendly, not remote-friendly.
Growth: You'll be joining a growing marketing/growth team at an exciting moment. As we grow, there's real room to specialize, take on more ownership, and grow into a senior role. Above all, you will have real ownership.
What You Get
💰 Competitive salary: €28-40k, depending on exact scope
🏢 Primarily on-site in Barcelona, hybrid-friendly for the right moments
📈 Growing team, visible impact: 500k+ users, real revenue, your work matters
Regular team events and the real startup experience
Office in the heart of Barcelona: Passeig de Gracia / Diagonal
❤️ A product that genuinely helps people: career transitions are high-stakes moments; what we build actually matters to users
🐕🐕 Office dogs: two of them, for your daily dose of cuddles
