We are seeking a motivatedProperty Maintenance Workerwith a great attention to detail to join our team. We take pride in our facilities and want team members who really want to help us shine. Initiative and taking care of tasks both big and small will enable us to have happy tenants.
Responsibilities
Conduct as directed any preventative maintenance procedures and schedules for buildings, equipment, and grounds. Report any safety or security concerns and fire regulation concerns immediately to the supervisor.
Perform maintenance and repairs related to buildings and equipment, including grounds-keeping.
Perform basic repairs in the following areas:
Rough Carpentry
Dry wall repair and install
Interior/exterior painting
Minor electrical (Replacing thermostats, baseboard heaters, etc.)
Perform grounds keeping activities such as: Keeping properties clean of garbage, inspections of properties for possible damage or security breaches, maintain properties landscaping (Mowing, gardening etc.), and snow removal, (shoveling, snow blower and tractor)
Completes and maintains related records such as maintenance logs and security incident reports.
Transports equipment, furniture and supplies manually and/or using aides such as dollies and carts.
Operates a motor vehicle to pick up and move goods and supplies. Arranges furniture for special events.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude throughout all interactions;
Other work related to the position as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
High school diploma
Working knowledge in one or more areas of carpentry; plumbing; electrical and grounds-keeping is essential.
Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to multi-task is critical.
Ability to coordinate and manage conflicting priorities often under pressure.
High level of motivation, maturity and dependability.
Team player and an ability to collaborate.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Class five license and a clean drivers abstract with reliable transportation.
