Make a real impact

Great teams don't run on plans alone — they run on things actually getting done: the event that comes together on time, the process that keeps holding when everyone's at their busiest, the small daily friction that gets solved before anyone even notices it was a problem. That's what this role owns.

As our Office Operations Assistant, you'll be BrokerChooser's go-to person for keeping the office and the operations behind it running smoothly. You'll start with clearly defined tasks and real ownership from day one, with room to grow into bigger, end-to-end processes independently as you learn the ropes.

What you'd do

• Keep office life running. Make sure our Budapest office is a place people actually want to work from — day to day, no drama.
• Organize events, big and small. From team outings to hybrid gatherings, you'll plan them and make them happen.
• Support cross-team operations. Give HR, finance, and other teams the administrative backbone they need to move fast.
• Communicate across the company. Be the clear, reliable link between teammates, partners, and vendors.
• Organize international travel. Plan and run travel for global projects — from booking flights and accommodation to making sure everything runs smoothly once the team is on the ground.
• Ensure seamless BAU operations. Daily tasks like keeping the office tidy, refilling coffee machines and fridges, packing, handling small administrative duties, printing, and mailing are routine — but they keep everything running.
• Manage vendor relationships. Work with cleaning services, delivery partners, and other suppliers so everything arrives on time and works as expected.
• Set up meeting rooms. Prepare spaces for workshops, hybrid calls, and team sessions-tech ready, materials in place, no surprises.

Who we're looking for

• Some experience in office management, operations, or admin — this is a junior role, so we care more about your drive than your years.
• Comfortable juggling several things at once without losing track of details.
• A clear communicator, comfortable coordinating with people across the company.
• A natural problem-solver: quick and precise when it's urgent, creative and flexible when it's not.
• Fluent in English.
• Genuinely energized by making things run better, not just keeping them running.

Nice to have: experience organizing events or conferences; experience in a fast-growing startup environment.
