Job Overview

 

This role supervises the Guest Experience team to create authentic and memorable experiences for our guests that distinguish us from other hotels. We prioritise our guests in every aspect of their journey with us. Those who are passionate about meeting new people, making a spontaneous impression, and think out of the box will enjoy this role.

 

Key Responsibilities

Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:

  • Assigns and instructs Guest Experience Hosts in details of work
  • Greets guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Uses a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understands requests, responds with appropriate actions and provides accurate information such as outlet hours and local attractions
  • Decides and acts based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising approach to accommodate unusual situation
  • Liaise with other departments and necessary outside contracts to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Handle all guest complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner

 

Requirements

 

Here's exactly what you need to excel in this role:

 

The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, outgoing and people orientated. Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Proficiency in a second language would be a definite advantage

 

The Cherries on Top (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Used HMS, HotSOS, REX systems in the past
  • Knowledge of the local area, roadways, and services
  • Speaks more than one language
