The role is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting to influence business decision-making. It involves driving the annual budget process and implementing financial process improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requires a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and budgeting. Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of accounting, bank regulations, and strong financial modeling skills.
Credit First National Association is a private label credit card bank and the consumer credit division of Bridgestone Americas. The Bridgestone Americas family of enterprises, including CFNA, is comprised of more than 50 production facilities and 55K employees throughout the Americas. We provide the consumer credit solution for the Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, and Wheel Works brands, in addition to customized retail credit services for more than 8,000 other tire and automotive retailers nationwide. At our office in Cleveland, OH, more than 300 professionals gather each day to run a successful private label credit card program. Job functions Include but are not limited to:
Produces in-depth analysis for review by management with recommendations and enhanced insight that will influence overall business decision making
Plays a key role in driving the annual budget and forecast process in collaboration with business leaders at CFNA and Corporate FP&A
Assist the finance & accounting team through an efficient, accurate, and transparent close process with prior banking expertise & insights gathered through business collaboration
Drive continuous improvement within the business with special regard to finance operations. This includes working with teammates across the CFNA Finance team to improvement engagement & growth and well as minimize risk through cross-training
Implement financial process improvements and assist with special projects
Operates as part of a larger team and in managing own work
Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting
3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting and management reporting
In-depth knowledge of accounting and understanding of bank regulations
Strong analytical and financial modeling skillset
Strategic thinker that uses qualitative approach & foundational industry knowledge to guide towards profitable growth
Success working with cross-functional teams within Finance and specifically within Risk, Marketing, Operations, and Analytics at a lending institution
