The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining Swiss CNC machines to produce precision components. It also requires troubleshooting machining issues and optimizing the centerless grinding process.
A high school diploma is required, preferably from a technical school, along with over one year of experience in CNC process optimization and precision measurement. Knowledge of Swiss cutting tools and centerless grinding is preferred.
SUMMARY:
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for owning the Company’s blanking process, including setting up, maintaining tooling, programming, troubleshooting, general process improvement, and material handling. This role will primarily operate the Swiss CNC machines and develop an intimate knowledge of the Company’s grinding process and assist with troubleshooting and process improvement.
