School Psychologist Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary by placement but may include:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP development
Design and implement evidence-based interventions and supports
Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
Participate in IEP meetings and school-based problem-solving teams
Provide consultation regarding behavioral interventions and classroom supports
Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation
Support positive school climates and student success
Qualifications
Master's Degree, Specialist Degree, or Doctorate in School Psychology
Valid New Hampshire School Psychologist License or eligibility
Strong skills in assessment, consultation, intervention, and collaboration
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
