The operator monitors system conditions and coordinates operational activities for the Individual Carrier System at the airport. They are responsible for reporting faults to maintenance technicians and analyzing problems to prevent future occurrences.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience with automated material handling or baggage systems. Eligibility for airside security clearance and the ability to work a rotating shift schedule are required.

The Control Room Operator will operate the systems in the control room. They will monitor all baggage handling system conditions and coordinate all system and operation related activities. The Control Room Operator will report all system faults and breakdowns to Maintenance Technicians accurately, to minimize system downtime and log all information that causes system stoppage. This role will support the BEUMER Individual Carrier System (ICS) at Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR).
Pay Rate: $23.93 per hour
The posted hourly rate reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position.
