Patient Care Coordinator – Langford (Victoria), British Columbia
At Avant Respiratory, we are committed to providing the highest quality sleep therapy services across Canada. We provide clinical consultation and treatment for snoring and sleep apnea. We are dedicated to helping our patients improve their lives through better sleep.
We're growing, and we're looking for a Patient Care Coordinator who's organized, people-first, and ready to build a meaningful career in healthcare – no clinical background needed.
What You’ll Do
Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments
Assist patients in person, by phone, and virtually with questions and general support
Manage incoming referrals and prepare patient files
Maintain accurate documentation and update electronic medical records
Coordinate insurance coverage, pre-authorizations, and claim submissions
Process payments, create invoices, and support inventory management
Support clinicians with day-to-day administrative tasks
Maintain clinic organization and professional presentation
Schedule equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in customer service, administration, reception, or a patient-facing role is an asset
Friendly, professional, and confident when interacting with patients
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
Comfortable picking up new software and computer systems
Experience with EMR systems or in healthcare is an asset – but not required
