The technician will run a daily route to resolve customer pest concerns by mixing and applying pesticides according to laws and company standards. They are also responsible for maintaining equipment, keeping accurate treatment records, and advising customers on pest solutions.
No prior experience is necessary as training is provided, but a valid US driver's license held for at least 3 years and a clean driving record are required. Candidates must pass a drug test and background check and be able to carry a 50 lb product backpack.
We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Frisco, TX. This position will report to our office in Plano, TX once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
Advise customers of potential problems
Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
Work schedule includes every other Saturday

A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
