The Animal Protective Foundation (APF) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Relief Veterinarian to join our high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter clinic.
This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys surgery, believes in increasing access to care, and wants a predictable schedule with outstanding work-life balance.
Schedule
Approximately 6 hours per day
8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Monday through Thursday only
No evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities
Compensation
$100 - $125 per hour
About the Role
Working alongside an experienced and dedicated veterinary team, you will perform high-quality spay/neuter surgeries while helping to reduce pet overpopulation and improve animal welfare throughout our community.

What We’re Looking For
DVM with a New York State veterinary license in good standing
Surgical proficiency and sound medical judgment
