Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure site operations remain compliant and reliable within a nuclear environment. Responsibilities include testing installations, responding to breakdowns, and managing critical spares and the BMS system.
Requires a technical qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or BTEC and certification in BS7671 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations. Candidates must pass a BPSS security check and be capable of working at heights.

Our Nuclear Restoration Services account at Hinkley Point A in Somerset supports the safe, secure and efficient operation of a complex nuclear environment through high-quality facilities and engineering services. As an Electrician, you will play a key role in delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance, helping to keep site operations compliant, reliable and running smoothly within a highly regulated setting.
The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week (shift pattern 7.30am- 5pm Monday to Thursday only)
Previous experience with planned preventative maintenance is preferred but not essential. While a Level 3 qualification is preferred, we are open to interviewing candidates with a Level 2 qualification

This role is subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. BPSS is a pre-employment screening process and includes verification of your identity, right to work in the UK, employment history and references, and a basic criminal record check. Appointment will be conditional upon successfully meeting the BPSS requirements.
