The Billing Specialist is responsible for preparing and processing client invoices in accordance with contract terms and company policies. This role involves coordinating with Project Managers and subconsultants to ensure accurate financial data and timely billing issuance.
Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, with strong organizational and communication skills. A degree in Accounting or Finance and 2-5 years of billing experience, particularly in the construction or engineering industry, is preferred.

The Impact You Will Have:
Alliant Engineering, Inc., an award-winning engineering, land surveying, and construction services firm, is looking for a Billing Specialist to join our accounting team in downtown Minneapolis. This role works closely with Project Managers and the Accounting team to ensure billing complies with contract requirements, company policies, and client expectations. Our ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, be a team player, have a high level of interpersonal skills, and be able to be trusted to manage sensitive and confidential material.

The base pay for this position is expected to be in the range of $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
