The Senior Civil Engineer will lead multidisciplinary teams in the design and delivery of land development projects while managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships. They are also responsible for mentoring junior staff and participating in business development activities to grow the firm's market share.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Minnesota. A minimum of 8 years of experience in land development design or construction management is required, along with proficiency in civil engineering software.

The Impact You’ll Have:
Alliant Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer on our Land Development team at our Minneapolis office.
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will use your technical and management skills to lead a multidisciplinary team, delivering multimodal projects for our clients. Utilize your technical skills by being hands-on during the design process, providing technical direction and expertise to the project team. Use your project management skills for planning, organizing, monitoring, and directing work activities and budgets.
You will participate in business development opportunities, including preparing proposals, participating in client meetings, and engaging in marketing activities to grow your client network. You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge by mentoring and training professional and graduate engineers.

The base salary for this position is expected to be in the range of $100,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
