The Customer Service Clerk is responsible for providing high-quality service by processing transactions, including sales, returns, and wire transfers. They also maintain the cleanliness of the service desk and assist with stock replenishment in display areas.
Candidates should have prior customer service experience and the ability to operate electronic scanning registers and financial machines. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
As a Customer Service Clerk, you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service in accordance with our company's standards and policies. Your role will involve operating electronic scanning cash registers, receiving payment for customer purchases, honoring discounts and coupons, assisting customers with Loyalty Program questions or sign-ups, and bagging items. You will also operate machines to sell money orders, lotto tickets, and transfer funds by wire, process customer returns, sell gift cards and lotto tickets, and handle other transactions as needed. Additionally, you will maintain cleanliness of the Customer Service Desk and front area of the store, replace stock in display areas, and adhere to the uniform and grooming policy.
