Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Q/C and Troubleshoot technical issues and notate non-functioning components
Meet production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
Multi-task, and work in a flexible and changing environment with multiple competing deadlines
Interpret written instructions and follow detailed verbal directions
Perform basic mathematic calculations
Complete data entry of logs, paperwork, and forms
Learn multiple tasks, cross train, and perform job functions in other departments, as needed
Accurately perform job duties with minimal supervision
Utilize testing machines and a variety of hand tools with a high level of finger dexterity
Work effectively using low-power magnification, and see details within a close range
Effectively communicate (oral, written, and verbal) and maintain good relationship with co-workers.
Perform warehouse duties when necessary (move up to 50lb boxes, use pallet jack, trash duties, basic organization, recycling scrap parts)
Work well in both groups and independently
Any additional duties assigned by the tech lead, tech supervisors or Director of Operations.
QualificationsKnowledge
Basic understanding of Chromebook components: LCD screens, Keyboards, Batteries, Motherboards, Wi-Fi Cards, Charge and power ports.
Understanding quality control standards and inspection processes.
Basic knowledge of computer repair tools and equipment.
Awareness of workplace safety practices.
Skills
Disassemble Chromebooks without causing damage.
Identify cosmetic and functional defects.
Use hand tools such as precision screwdrivers, spudgers, tweezers, and multimeters.
Follow written work instructions and repair procedures.
Record inspection results accurately in a computer system.
Maintain productivity while meeting quality standards.
Perform repetitive tasks with consistency and attention to detail.
