The role involves designing and analyzing AC/DC traction power distribution systems, including substations and overhead catenary systems. Responsibilities include developing electrical schematics, performing power system calculations, and conducting field inspections.
Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Candidates must be able to obtain a PE license and AECOM PM certification within two years of hire.

AECOM is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Traction Power Project Engineer to join our dedicated team in Philadelphia, PA. This position will be directly involved with the design and analysis of DC or AC traction power systems for railways, light rail transit (LRT), or other electrified transportation networks.
